October 2021: Ministry Update

The Lord will send a blessing on your barns and on everything you put your hand to. The Lord your God will bless you in the land.
Deuteronomy 28:8

Pastor Richardo sent us an update on the farm and how it is blessing so many. Some of the pictures are out of focus, but you can see church members with their fruit and vegetables. Thank you for helping provide what is greatly needed. The Lord bless you as you bless others!

My dear brother, God continue to bless you. We are well thank God we had a very blessed service and although there are many sick brothers every Sunday the attendance increases. Today 6 new people came which is always great news. After the service we were able to bless each brother with produce from the farm, we thank God that in this time of so much scarcity he has blessed us to bless. My brother every day I pray for God to use us to expand his glory in this nation, it is very sad to see the condition of discouragement and frustration of the people, so many calamities have stolen joy from many people and we know that only Christ can help them, so we do not faint and every day we strive to bring comfort and peace to as many people as we can in times of crisis, the role of the Christian is fundamental. I dream of the day that we can return together to the streets to rescue the lives that are imprisoned by the enemy. Every day that is closer to happening!!!! Greet my American family and a strong hug for you with all the love and gratitude of your brother and friend Ricardo.

The Lord will send a blessing on your barns and on everything you put your “Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves; ensure justice for those being crushed. Yes, speak up for the poor and helpless, and see that they get justice.”
Proverbs 31:8-9

The Maternity Ward is so close to being completed. They are working on the inside finishes and this project can’t come to an end quick enough. Just yesterday, Pastor Kato sent us some sad news of a mother that had died in childbirth after having twins. I’m passing along the photo of the babies so that we will remember and pray for them. This tragedy, like many others that happen in this part of Africa, are all too uncommon, and it is exactly why the Lord led us to this continent, this country, in this village, to these people. Thank you for rescuing mothers and babies, not only are we given a chance at saving their lives, but perhaps their souls as well.

Jeff is planning to return to Uganda in February 2022 to get a plan for moving forward with bringing medical teams in to start the process of equipping the maternity ward. We have several medically trained people waiting to get started. We will be in contact with you if you have already reached out to us. We also have plans to go to India/Nepal and Cuba during the first quarter of 2022. These trips will be quick trips to evaluate our ministry points and meet with our partners and friends. We know many of you are also set on go to return with us. We are looking forward to getting back out in the fields the Lord has called us to in 2022. Thank you for TRECing with us and not growing weary…the harvest is plentiful!
