“There are no crown-wearers in heaven who were not cross-bearers here below.”
Charles Spurgeon
There is something beautiful about watching the Lord work through ordinary people. In Cuba right now, the needs are overwhelming. Food is scarce, prices continue to rise, and many families are simply trying to survive one day at a time. Yet in the middle of all of that hardship, we are seeing God move in powerful ways.
Recently, Junior and Albert were able to purchase food for approximately 30 families using the funds that were sent from our ministry partners. These weren’t large programs or public events. They were simple acts of obedience and compassion…believers sacrificing what little they have in order to care for neighbors, friends, and family.
And the Lord is using it!
As food is shared, conversations are opening. As people experience kindness and generosity, hearts are softening. Families who once felt forgotten are seeing the love of Christ demonstrated in tangible ways. We are hearing stories again and again of people asking questions about faith, asking for prayer, and gathering together to seek the Lord.
What encourages us most is this: God does not require extraordinary people to accomplish extraordinary things. He simply asks for willing hearts.
Junior and Albert are ordinary men who love Jesus and love people. Yet through their faithfulness, the Lord is multiplying every act of sacrifice into ministry opportunities that are changing lives.
Thank you for continuing to pray, give, and stand with the people of Cuba. Every gift matters. Every prayer matters. And every act of obedience becomes another opportunity for the Gospel to shine in difficult places.
Please continue praying for strength, provision, and open hearts throughout Cuba. The challenges remain great, but so does the faithfulness of God!
We want to say thank you to every person who prayed, donated, and gave sacrificially to support this work. Because of your generosity, families were fed, burdens were lifted, and the love of Christ was made visible in a very real way. Sometimes it is easy to wonder if our small acts of obedience truly make a difference, but this is a beautiful reminder that God multiplies what is placed in His hands. Your giving became more than food on a table…it became hope, encouragement, and an open door for the Gospel. Thank you for being part of what the Lord is doing in Cuba.
Together we can make a difference!
