Cuba
We’ve been getting stories from Manuel of people you’ve been helping during the pandemic in Cuba. As things continue to deteriorate in Cuba, it’s so painful to hear from our friends who are struggling to get food and provisions. With your help, we have been able to send money to help our friends who are translators. They are so appreciative of all we are able to do, but there are limits on how much money can be sent, so we trust the Lord to multiply and make what we’ve been able to send go far.
The family with the little girls pictured are a poor family who live outside of Sancti Spiritus. The woman’s name is Barbarita. She and her husband farm the land and take care of their two granddaughters. Manuel says that this area used to grow sugar cane, it once had a large factory where the men worked.
The other picture is of two women. The one in the striped shirt is Josefina, a member of the church who is in bad health. Her friend comes to help take care of her. In both of these situations, these families are depending on the help of the local church. Arturo, the local pastor pictured with the mask along with Pastor Luis has been overseeing the relief efforts. You have been a huge part in helping the church minister to families and share the gospel. Thank you for spreading love and light!
In Nepal
Dear Brother Jeff and TREC family,
Lately, Nepal is facing a crisis of disasters. Lives and properties have been destroyed by landslides and flood. On the 11th of August, 2020, the landslide has destroyed 40 houses and 11 people are still missing at Besinda village of Silichong rural municipality in Sankhuwa Sabha district in east Nepal. The landslides have destroyed all the infrastructures there. It completely destroyed the suspension bridge.
Please pray for us. We as a church will help as we can, it is so much to do.

From Our Heart...
Thank you! Thank you for your support and encouragement as we have tried earnestly during the most unpredictable of times to minister to our people in Cuba and Nepal. With your help, we have done what we can to make sure the people in our circle are fed and that they have what they need to minister to others. They are tired and weary…we’re ALL tired and find ourselves weary of the insanity around us. With that being said, we press on! We look for the Kingdom in our daily tasks and trust the Lord to work this all out. We thank you for praying for us and supporting the work in Nepal and Cuba.
