God’s answers are wiser than our prayers.
We have been in pretty consistent contact with our friends in Cuba despite the lack of power and internet. They assure us they are ok, but admit things are very serious and at times dangerous. They are taking care of people and each other. They testify that they don’t know how God is supplying their needs, BUT HE IS, and there’s always enough to share. They are hopeful things will change soon and are making plans for the future, and we are too! As soon as things open up and we get a plan in place to go we will let you know. There are five groups waiting to get their faith dirty and take in relief supplies. Please continue to pray for all of our friends in Cuba. Your prayers make a difference! In the meantime, things are moving forward in India and Nepal. We were able to raise money for two of our church building projects. We wired the money to Jiwan last week, and the church has already started some foundation work. I’ll post a video so you can see a little of the progress.
Pray for Jiwan, Esther, and all the believers in India and Nepal. Things are tough there for Christians, but they still look for ways to share the love of Jesus. They can no longer share the gospel with non-believers, so Jiwan, in all his wisdom, has decided to preach the gospel to a few church members on the street, knowing that this will draw a crowd and people will hear the Good News. When approached by the local authorities, he tells them that he was teaching only to the Christians and that he can’t control whether others stop to listen.
Thank you for all you do to help spread the Good News of Jesus all around the world! Because of your generosity, people’s lives are being made better and are being changed through the power of the Holy Spirit.
